The vapor outputs on the Torpedo far exceed anything else designed for mushroom growth that we have seen on the market. This device can power two 6' foot greenhouse tents! You could also add splitters to the output hoses and power as many as 10 standard fruiting chambers. The Torpedo's secret is the utilization of an Ultrasonic Fogger used in reptile aquariums to keep humidity levels high. We have added a small float that can keep the fogger running despite the level of water decreasing. The air pump creates a positive flow of pressure inside the Torpedo which expels vapor and humidity through the two outputs on the side. A water level on the front of the Torpedo lets you know when it's time to fill up the Torpedo and keep it pumping. The Eco Torpedo measures 7" in diameter X 20.5" H with the screw top on. Quick Tips for using the TORPEDO: 1) Make sure to use WARM distilled water only inside the Torpedo. The fogging device will not work in extremely cold water. It may be necessary to add a submersible aquarium heater to the inside of the Torpedo if you are running this in a location that is constantly below 65 degrees F. Using distilled water will prevent calcium deposits on the sensitive fogger. That disc will eventually need to be replaced over time and extensive use growing mushrooms. 2) Make sure the hoses on the outputs are pointed upwards so that the condensed water that forms inside the hoses can run back inside of the Torpedo. If the hoses are pointed downward then water will drain out of the hoses onto your precious substrate, and that's not good for your mushrooms growing inside the chamber. 3) Be sure the water level inside the Torpedo never exceeds above the hoses and grommets!
